Something to think about...Devotional by Evangelist Allen Domelly

Hello everyone! I hope you're having a blessed week so far. Today I'd like to share a devotional I read these just about everyday, everyday a different lesson. I thought I should share this one with you today with the hope that it will reach someone and be a blessing. When I read this it grabbed a hold of my heart and I want to share this devotional on Gods love with you.

John 3:16’s Lesson

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

One of the greatest verses in the entire Bible is John 3:16. It is most likely, the most well known verse in the world. In this verse you will find the Gospel. If the only verse a person ever read in the Bible was John 3:16 they have read enough Bible to get saved.

But one of the greatest lessons we learn from this verse is that God loves us. Notice it says that “...God so loved the world...” This love of God for the world was so great that the only way He could explain this love was to say He “...so loved the world...” Let me simply remind you of a few lessons this verse shows us about God's love.

First of all, God loves you! It doesn't matter who you are or what you have done in life, God loves you! God loves the drunkard as well as the sober person. God loves the pure person as well as He loves the harlot. God loves the atheist as much as He loves the religious person. God loves the poor person as much as He loves the rich person. There is no prerequisite to obtaining God's love other than being a part of this world.

Secondly, He loves you because of who you are and not because of what you are. This verse did not say God loves a person because of what they are doing for Him. No, in fact, God loves you because of who you are. I thank God that His love for me is not because of what I do but because of who I am. If His love were only because of what I do, then His love would be a conditional love. But you must understand that God's love is not a conditional love, God's love is an unconditional love. That means that God loves you!

Thirdly, God loves you in your present condition. It doesn't matter how deep sin has taken you, God's love can reach to you. It doesn't matter how much sin has ruined your life, God still loves you. It doesn't matter that you have disappointed God as a Christian, God still loves you. You may have done something last night, but God loves you in your present condition. Whether you murdered someone, aborted a baby, lost your purity, messed your life up on drugs, sit in a prison cell or committed any other “horrible” sin, God loves you right where you are. Yes, because of God's love we should stop committing our wickedness, but God loves you in your present condition. No matter what the depth of sin you have committed, God's love reaches to where you are.

Lastly, you can't keep God from loving you. I know there are people for some unknown reason who may say they don't want God to love them, but let me remind you that you can't keep God from loving you. God’s love is not conditional on whether we love Him; God's love is conditional on the fact of His choice to love us. Though you may not want God to love you, you can't stop Him from loving you. Though you may continue to live in sin, your sin does not keep God from loving you.

I simply write this to remind you: God loves you! As you go throughout your day today I want you to be reminded of one thing; God loves you. Go ahead and tell yourself right now that God loves you. You ask how I know God loves you and I will tell you that I know He loves you because in John 3:16 the Bible tells me so.

I sure hope this was a blessing to you, as it was to me.

Love,
Jeni

Gods love a gift to you and me!

Yummy-est Vegetarian Chili

My messy bowl of yumminess!

VEGETARIAN CHILI

*I used all organic ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 (11 ounce)Can of condensed black bean soup --I used organic canned black beans

  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained, rinsed

  • 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained, rinsed

  • 1 (16 ounce) can vegetarian baked beans

  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can tomato puree

  • 1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained--I used frozen corn
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 zucchini chopped --DId not have any so I didn't include this!
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 (4 ounce) can diced chilies---I did not use this
  • 1-2 jalapenos, chopped (Optional I did not use this either)
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro (optional)

Directions

1 In a saucepan, saute the onion, bell pepper, zucchini, and celery for about 5 minutes.
2 In a slow cooker, combine black bean soup, kidney beans, garbanzo beans, baked beans, tomatoes, corn, onion, bell pepper, zucchini, jalapeno, chilies, and celery.
3 Season with garlic, chili powder, cumin, parsley, oregano, basil (and cilantro if using).
4 Cook for about 6 hours on low.
5 Serve with tortillas, cornbread, rice, or French bread.

*This freezes well!
*Leftovers are good on top of nachos!

I topped this with Mozarella since thats all I had but I would recommend something else instead...not sure what.

This was very yummy this is probably the second time Ive ever had chili. The pictures are from my leftovers I ate this 3 days in a row for lunch since we were only 3 we had a lot of leftovers! My husband and brother in law loved it! We had it for dinner again another night from the leftovers and my husband was like "wow, this is so good you dont even notice theres no meat in it!" to which my brother in law replies,"What , theres no meat in this?...I never noticed!"

I think that it tasted even yummier the next day. I wish I could do this all the time because it is seriously easy and so delicious but I got to say I seldom eat anything from a can for many reasons but I did check all the labels of the products I used to make sure they were as clean as possible and organic. This chili was a perfect reason to excuse myself from my non-canned food eating...it was worth the risk.

I will more than likely cook the beans I can at home next time I make it instead of getting canned.

    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
1 lb extra-lean ground white turkey breast
    3/4 tsp gound cinnamon
    1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1 28oz can whole tomatoes in juice --- I used crushed but next time ill probably use spaghetti sauce I have a very picky hubby...he hates tomatoes!
    1 tsp sea salt
8 sheets dried high protein or whole-wheat lasagna noodles
1 10oz box frozen chopped spinach, thawed
    1 15oz container low-fat ricotta cheese
    1 egg
3/4 cup shredded reduced-fat mozzarella cheese

Directions

This recipe was from Clean Eating Magazine!! =)

1. Cook diced onions on medium heat with 1 tsp olive oil. Add garlic in next. Then put in ground turkey and cook till no sing of pink. Stir in cinnamon and nutmeg, then add tomatoes with juice and salt.
Reduce heat to medium low, and let simmer for 20 min. Stir occasionally to break the tomatoes into pieces.

2. Bring a large pot of water to boil. Cook pasta according to a box directions. Drain, rinse and allow to cool in a colander.

3. Preheat oven to 400 degree. Squeeze all remaining moisture from thawed spinach and place in a alarge bowl. Add ricotta cheese, egg and 1/4 cup of mozzarella chease to bowl. Stir until combined.

4. Spread 1 cup of cooked tomato sauce into bottom of a 9" x 10" casserole dish.
Now laay a cooked lasagna noodle flat in front of you. Use your fingers to spread 1/8 of ricotta mixture across the noodle and roll it up. Place rooled pasta, seam side down, into the casserol dish.
Spread remaining tomato sauce over roll-ups, then top with remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese.

5. Bake, covered with foil for 20 min. Rmove foil and broil for 5 min or untill roll-ups are browned and bubbly.

Number of Servings: 8

254.7 calories per serving and tell you what I can only eat one serving these are very filling!

The Verdict: I loved this, my husband and brother in law scarfed it down. The nutmeg and cinamon give this dish a very yummy in my tummy taste! Will do over and over again. My brother in law said he liked this better than regular lasagna and hey it super easy and healthy!

Picture of Grace

Picture someone with no reason for living with no hope of smiling again,
Imagine a world with no golden day brake enclosed by the blackness of sin
Then this seed is baked in beauty of glory transformed by loves sweet embrace
The hands of my savior erased all my sorrow and painted this picture of grace.

How skillful the hands of the artist, who painted this picture of me.
He saw with the eyes of a master, how beautiful my life could be,
Where once was a portrait of gloom and despair this masterpiece stands in its place.
Its signed with his blood and it framed with his glory, this beautiful picture of grace.

Ashes and ruin that once filled the picture have vanished and faded from view,
With beautiful touches of mercy adorn this picture he painted anew.
Such peace fills the eyes of the one he created a smile gently rests on his face,
Since Jesus erased all the guilt of my past and painted this picture of grace.

Psalm 136

1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercyendureth for ever.
3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercyendureth for ever.
4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercyendureth for ever.
5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.
6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.
7 To him that made great lights: for his mercy endurethfor ever:
8 The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:
9 The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercyendureth for ever.
10 To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever:
11 And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for ever:
12 With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.
13 To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever:
14 And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for ever:
15 But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endureth for ever.
16 To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy endureth for ever.
17 To him which smote great kings: for his mercyendureth for ever:
18 And slew famous kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:
19 Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy endurethfor ever:
20 And Og the king of Bashan: for his mercy endurethfor ever:
21 And gave their land for an heritage: for his mercyendureth for ever:
22 Even an heritage unto Israel his servant: for his mercy endureth for ever.
23 Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever:
24 And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever.
25 Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever.
26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.

I thank you Lord for your everlasting mercy...for taking someone like me and making me a picture of your grace.

Love you always,

Jeni

His mercy endureth FOREVER:

Im a new and improved Jeni

Hello everyone! I miss being able to post here as often as I use to but I just have been so super busy. There have been alot of new and exciting things happening in my my life, Heres a few of the highlights:

I am officially a Clean Eater: Yes, I have crossed to the other side and Praise the Lord the Grass is greener!
What is a clean eater you ask?

Consuming food in its most natural state or as close as possible to it. Its not a DIET its a LIFESTYLE.

I have to to admit that at first I thought my life was over ha-ha. I tend to over react! I will admit also that I did not volunteer myself into this. My alternative medicine doctor advised me that in order to save my life I will have to change my diet! It really works I feel great and I look great compared to what I looked like 5 months ago. I no longer eat red meat or pork, kissed all refined and white sugars goodbye and chicken has become my new best friend! In 4 months I have lost 30 pounds and counting! I am so thankful God has given me a second chance at life and that with my illness I was able to discover this lifestyle. I eat mostly organic and juicing has become an essential part of my day. I strive each day to become healthier as I am not wholly recovered. I would advice everyone to join me in this you would not regret it. It is true you are what you eat and the more I read about it the more i'm convinced its the only way to assure a healthy life. Enough about this... for now, be sure you'll hear lots more from me on this subject in posts to come!

Clean Eater things to steer clear from:
Overly processed foods
Refined foods
Refined sugars and flours
SAT and TRANS fat
Anything fried

I have lost 30 pounds and counting and my husband has lost 15 we are so super excited about this!

I have been investing more time into my amateur photography, and I am loving it!
I live in West Virginia its such a beautiful state. Im very lucky to be able to live surrounded by Gods precious art-nature! God paints each day the most beautiful skies in West Virginia!

I FEEL LIKE I AM GROWING IN THE LORD DAILY AND TELL YOU WHAT THAT IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FEELINGS!
I feel like a rose blooming in the springtime! I pray God continues to use me everyday in any way possible.

Be sure you'll hear from me much love

Praise Report...a quick update!

Hello my darlings!!!!! Miss me much??? I am so happy to say I am doing MUCH MUCH better! After many exams, blood work and lots of praying I am glad to say I am almost back to normal PRAISE THE LORD! I went from nearly having cancer in my uterus to being 2 points away from no more anemia, no more bleeding and my period is finally beginning to be normal. My hair, skin, nails and whole body feel and look great...yes im still a chunky monkey but I love myself as I am my goal was never to lose weight but to get HEALTHY but loosing a few pounds didn't hurt.

I am following a very strict natural treatment that cures me Gods way using all the things he put on this earth for us to use to our advantage. I did go to a regular doctor but unfortunately they were not able to help me instead my problem got worse therefore I decided to go to alternative medicine. My treatment ends in September and it has been a little tough but it all has been worth it in 2 months the cysts in my ovaries are almost gone and my uterus completely healthy and NORMAL after I had learned I had a growth inside of it that was set to stay there forever or so I was told. The Lord has truly blessed me and given me a chance to have babies when I thought that chance was gone and forgotten.

I want to thank all of you Specktra Babes for your many prayers and love, my friends who through the distance has shown me how much I am missed and that without a doubt they always have me in their prayers, my familia I Love You guys so much thank you for giving me the strength to keep going when things got hard, and my Hunny Bunny the love of my life thank you for your patience and endless love and patience I hope I never have to leave you for 4 months ever again!

For You Lord

I wrote this back in March I was just done trying a treatment that failed I decided to post this because I want this blog to show every side of me. I am a Christian but that doesnt mean theres not hard times for me too. I wrote this knowing that God knew every word I wrote before it was ever written, that he knew every tear I cried before it had fallen, and that he knew every purpose in what has been going on in my life. Still through it all I know he loves me and his love is so much more than I could ever comprehend.

Lord thank you for giving me a chance if living. For your endless love, your endless mercy and your endless understanding! I feel so alone right now Lord I feel so sad and low and I know only your arms are here to hold me . I beg that you hold me tight that you dont let me go. I feel like im falling and I know the only one that can keep me from falling. Lord forgive me for the many wrongs I do each and everyday. I dont mean to hurt you! I dont want to come apart from you my place is only near you! Please give me wisdom father to help me understand and comprehend the things that cause me this hurt. Help me not to doubt and forgive my unbelief at times. I just need you because I have nothing, I am nothing...without you Lord.

Love you always and forever,

Jeni

Hello Darlings: Quick Update

I will be in Ecuador till July 10th and will have to return again in September. After tests a mini operation and a diet I feel much better. Guess what finally stopped my bleeding Red Wine yes 3oz of red wine a day and it stopped. I am under an all natural treatment which was my choice rather than going with conventional medicine which consists of natural juices, a healthier diet, and natural medicines. I did not want to take birth control which was the other option. I was on the verge of cancer in my uterus and Thanks tot the Lord I got here in the nick of time! I cant wait to have more time and explain in more detail my journey but i will as soon as I am home till later loves!

Sometimes we need to remember what team were on!

I am on GODs team! I am on GODs team! With him by my side I KNOW the victory we will win!

John 16:33
"These things have I written unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be off good cheer; I have overcome the world."

We will go through hard times, loss and pain. I have the assurance that in the end I am on the winning team. If your going through hard times this is the greatest of assurances.

Just hang on through the hard times for the victory surely comes!

Want to join Gods team its simple:

In one minute I can explain to you how you can know for sure that if you died today you would go to Heaven.

All you have to know are 4 things.

1] Man is a sinner. Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

2] There is a price on sin, eternal death. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

3] Jesus paid that price on the cross. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

4] By faith in Christ we can be saved. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

HERE IS HOW YOU CALL UPON THE LORD

Do you admit that you are a sinner?
Do you realize your sin has a punishment and that is Hell?
Do you believe Jesus died on the Cross to pay your sin debt?

If you are sorry for your sins and would like for God to save your soul, just ask Him.

Dear Jesus,
Please forgive me of my sins. I trust you today, JESUS, and only You, to take me to HEAVEN when I die. Thank you for saving me.
Amen.

Just as you were born to your parents, you were born into the Family of God when you called on Jesus and you can never be unborn from the family of man or God! Romans 6:23b ;but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Have a great week!
